Apply automatic image corrections in a single generation step. Retouch adjusts lighting, color balance, geometry, surface details, hair, and background cleanliness while preserving the composition.

How to use

Select "Retouch"

In the left task menu, select Retouch.

This opens the Retouch workspace for your current scene.

Upload a product image

The product image will be used as the foreground element.

You may upload an image by:

Selecting Upload an image inside the scene
Dragging and dropping an image from a folder on your computer
Dragging and dropping an image from the Library panel at the bottom-left of the screen

Once uploaded, the product will appear in the scene.

Keep or change the angle

In the Product settings section of the right-side panel, Retouch keeps your product's original angle by default.

Turn on Allow angle changes if you want Retouch to adjust the angle too.

Add reference images

Still in Product settings, you can add reference images of your product.

Select + Add image to upload a reference image. Reference images help Retouch keep your product's details accurate.

This step is optional.

Select the number of outputs

In the right-side generation Retouch settings panel:

Select how many variations to generate.
You may generate up to 2 scenes at once.

Choose generation effort

Next to Generate select the arrow to open the effort dropdown. See Choose generation effort

Standard is selected by default
Precise for product with fine or complex details

Generate

After confirming all settings, select Generate.

The generated scenes will appear in your Playground.

Product settings

Product settings let you choose whether to keep the original angle, and add a reference image to keep details accurate. This is especially useful for products with a complex shape or fine details.

Keep the product's original angle (default)

Use when you already shot the product at the exact angle you want.

Let Retouch change the angle

Use when you want Retouch to find a cleaner or more consistent angle.

Match product details with a reference image

Use when your product has fine details or a complex shape that Retouch might not get right on its own.

For best results, select Precise generation effort when using reference images on complex products.

Generation effort for Retouch

Generation effort controls how closely Retouch analyzes your image before generating, so fine detail on complex products comes through intact.

There are two effort levels:

Standard (default): best for most generations. Takes approximately 60 seconds.
Precise: analyzes your image closely, best for complex products. Takes approximately 140 seconds.

Hair retouch

Beachside recognizes hair in your image and retouches it automatically, smoothing flyaways, boosting shine, and adding fullness.

FAQ

How many reference images can I add, and what do they do?

You can add up to 3 reference images per product.
Reference images help Retouch match your product's real details, so they don't need extra instructions or prompts.

Why is the angle locked by default?

Retouch keeps the angle from your uploaded photo by default, so your product stays consistent with what you shot. Turn on Allow angle changes if you'd rather let Retouch adjust the angle for you.
