When to use

Adjust lighting to integrate products naturally into their environment. Choose between Directional and Point lighting. Directional applies uniform lighting across the entire scene, while Point allows localized control by defining light position and intensity for finer adjustments. You can also select a background color for transparent product images to achieve a clean, studio-style finish.


How to use

Directional light

Select ”Light”

Select Light from the task menu on the left side of the screen.

Select Directional light

Select Direction from the tab menu on top of the scene.

Upload a product image

You may upload an image by:

  • Upload an image by clicking on the text link "Upload an image" in the scene.

  • Drag and drop an image from a local folder on your computer.

  • Drag an drop an image from the asset panel on the bottom left side of the screen.

Select the light direction

You may select the direction of the light from the points placed on the edges of the scene or from the light settings panel on the right.

Select from scene:

  1. Hover the white points on the corners of the scene.

  2. Select your desired light direction.

  3. You may see a light indicator showing the selected direction.

Select from the light settings panel:

  1. Select from one of the following directions on the drop down list: Bottom left, Left center, Top left, Top center, Top right, Right center, Right bottom, Bottom center.

  2. You may see a light indicator showing the selected direction.

Additional Light settings

On the Light settings panel, on the right side of the scene, you may select a backdrop color and add a text prompt for overall direction.

If your image has a transparent background, you may choose a background color to be generated in your scene.

  1. Select the "Backdrop" drop down menu

  2. Select a color from one of the following:

    1. Select a list of neutral tones.

    2. Select from the color palette.

    3. Select a color with the color picker tool.

    4. Input a HEX color value in the text input field.

  1. Write directly on the text prompt field.

  2. You may choose a saved prompt from the "library" button.

  3. You may upload an image and Beachside will create a description of your image and place the text on the prompt field.

Select the number of images to generate

On the generation settings panel, on the right side of the scene, you may generate up to 4 different images at a time.

Generate

Press "Generate" to confirm and generate your scenes.
